The honest
answers.
Twenty-five questions we get most. If yours isn’t here, call 702-732-3754 or write us — we read every email.
First visit.
01 / 05 — 5 questionsAn exam with Dr. Goh, full digital X-rays, a hygiene cleaning, and a written treatment plan if anything needs attention. Dr. Goh's approach: he wants to hear your story first — what brought you in, what's been bothering you, what you'd like to change. The whole appointment typically runs about 90 minutes.
I hear you — cost is a real consideration and we never want to dismiss that. We don't quote a flat fee before we know what's going on in your mouth. We bill insurance directly, walk you through any out-of-pocket before treatment starts, and you leave with a written quote either way.
A photo ID, your insurance card if you have one, and a list of any medications you're taking. We'll send a digital intake form ahead of time so you're not filling out paperwork in the waiting room.
Five minutes is plenty. We run on time — typically within ten minutes of your slot — so arriving much earlier just means waiting.
Yes. We don't see kids under six as patients, but they're welcome to come with you. The waiting room has a small reading nook stocked with picture books.
Dental anxiety.
02 / 05 — 5 questionsLook, I get it — I was severely dental-phobic myself, and I had a terrible gag reflex for years. I'm not saying that to make you feel better. I'm saying it because it genuinely changed how I practice. Tell us you're anxious — on the phone, on the intake form, or the moment you walk in. We'll slow down, narrate every step, and give you a hand signal to pause whenever you need.
Yes — nitrous oxide and oral sedation are available, and we'll explain dosing and timing at your consult. Blankets, headphones, and a stress ball are at the front desk for any visit, sedation or not. We don't currently offer IV sedation; for full sedation we refer to a partner office.
Cleaning and routine fillings are typically comfortable. We use topical numbing gel before any injection, take our time placing local anesthetic, and check in before we start. If something hurts mid-procedure, raise your left hand and we stop immediately.
No. To be honest with you — about a quarter of our new patients tell us it's been five or more years. We're glad you're here. The first visit is a conversation, not a lecture.
Yes to both. Most operatories have a TV on the ceiling, but most patients prefer their own headphones and a playlist. Blankets and stress balls are at the front desk.
Insurance & payment.
03 / 05 — 5 questionsWe're in-network with most major PPO carriers — Delta, Aetna, Cigna, BlueCross BlueShield, United Concordia, Guardian, and many more. If we're not in-network with yours, we file the claim for you and many patients still see meaningful reimbursement. Call us with your carrier name and we'll tell you where you stand.
Many of our patients don't. We'll quote everything in writing at your consultation, then walk through flexible options — CareCredit, Cherry, LendingPoint, Sunbit, and our BoomCloud in-house savings plan — so the cost isn't one large number you have to manage alone.
Yes — four third-party lenders plus an in-house savings plan. CareCredit for longer plans (up to 60 months on larger cases). Cherry for soft-pull approvals and predictable monthly amounts. LendingPoint for flexible installments. Sunbit for same-day approvals. And our BoomCloud savings plan for patients who'd rather work directly with the practice. We'll help you compare before you apply.
Always. Every treatment plan comes with a written, itemized quote at the end of your consultation — before anything starts. If scope changes mid-visit, we pause, explain, and re-quote. The number on your bill will not be a surprise. And if we're recommending treatment, we'll also be honest about what it may cost to wait — financially and for your overall health.
Cash, all major credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, ACH transfer, and our financing partners (CareCredit · Cherry · LendingPoint · Sunbit · BoomCloud savings plan). We no longer accept personal checks.
Treatment & technique.
04 / 05 — 5 questionsNo. We've never placed an amalgam restoration since the practice opened. We use composite layered the biomimetic way — preserving as much natural tooth structure as possible, mercury-free. Your teeth are part of your body. How we restore them matters beyond the mouth. If you have old silver fillings you'd like removed safely, we follow the SMART removal protocol.
Digital scans for almost everything — crowns, Invisalign, night guards, sleep appliances. Traditional impression material is only used in a few specific scenarios. You'll know in advance if that's the case and we'll explain why.
Often yes. Same-day ceramic crowns are designed, milled, and seated in one visit — typically around two hours. No temporary crown, no second appointment. Some cases (implant restorations, multiple crowns at once) still call for a lab and a return visit, but many are same-day.
Yes. Dr. Goh places and restores implants in-house using guided CBCT planning — the same 3D imaging used in surgical planning. The most complex bone-grafting cases (sinus lifts, extensive ridge augmentation) are referred to a partner oral surgeon, then you come back to us for the restoration.
We see patients from age six up. For younger children and most pediatric-specific procedures, we refer to a pediatric specialist nearby.
The office.

Our schedule rotates bi-weekly — we're a solo practice and the calendar shifts around Dr. Goh's continuing-education weeks. Please call to confirm today's hours: 702-732-3754. Existing patients can reach Dr. Goh directly evenings and weekends for true emergencies.
Yes. Free, ample parking right at the door.
Yes — guest network, password printed on the welcome card.
Service animals are always welcome. Pets generally aren't, with one occasional exception for very small dogs in a carrier. The drill is loud and we'd rather not stress them out.
